Senior Director, Network Pln & Capacity MgmtFull Time Westlake, TX, US Sr. Dir Network Planning and Engineering Lead a 10 person Network Engineering and Planning team responsible for Rise Internet’s production network and its security Develop and own the technical roadmap and strategy for Rise Internet’s production network including, core/backbone POPs, national backbone including peering and transit, regional aggregation, and tower backhaul. Own and manage 3P carrier relationships ensuring best-in-class pricing and performance. Deliver ongoing savings through renewals and negotiations. Design and deliver tower and regional backhaul services to support expansion of Rise Internet’s network Support and serve as an escalation point for network operations to ensure network events are quickly addressed and resolved
Qualifications: 15+ years managing ISP networks; preferably fixed wireless and FTTH 5+ years in leadership, preferably at a Sr. Mgr level or higher. 5+ years experience with Cisco-based networks; certifications a plus (CCNA or CCIE) Preferred to be based in Dallas, though we may expand the search if need
