Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview FM Talent Source is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) communications, publications, and web content support program. The Senior Project Manager will provide overall contract leadership, customer engagement, staffing oversight, quality management, and performance management across a multidisciplinary team supporting research communications, stakeholder engagement, web content management, publications, and multimedia services.
Responsibilities: Serve as primary point of contact for FHWA leadership and COR.Provide overall contract and staff management. Direct project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Oversee production of communications products, publications, outreach activities, and web content. Ensure contract deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Lead status reporting, staffing management, and performance monitoring. Coordinate transition, onboarding, and continuity of operations activities.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with additional relevant experience.10+ years of program or project management experience. Experience managing communications, publications, outreach, marketing, or related federal programs. Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams. Strong client-facing and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications: FHWA, DOT, transportation, or federal research communications experience. PMP certification.
