About the role

3600 SECONDS! That is the amount of time I need from you a week. As little as one hour to visit a local Hospice Patient. You may be the only person that sees them that day or the only one to make them smile. How rewarding is that?! Aurora Hospice is looking for Caring Hearts to visit hospice patients to share stories, Music lovers to soothe the soul or Media experts to record a life story (We have the audio equip) Do you have 3600 Seconds? We will train you to be the best Hospice Companion Volunteer and to provide our patients with loving care, comfort and dignity in their final days. We provide flexible online training and work around and can accommodate any schedule. Safety is our #1 priority, so a background check and health history will need to be completed. All Aurora employees, including volunteers, are required to be vaccinated for Flu during Flu season. Call Lexi Pirman, 920-627-5306 or email Lexi. Pirman@aah.org or apply now! Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
