About the role

Our client is a financial services firm looking to add a junior attorney to its transactional legal team in New York. The role supports credit and financing activity, with direct access to business teams and meaning responsibility. Responsibilites: Negotiate financing agreements and related transaction documents. Support secured lending and transactions involving financial assets. Work with business teams and external counsel to resolve legal issues and move deals through closing. Handle commercial agreements and advise on legal developments affecting the business.
Qualifications: 2–4 years of relevant transactional experience at a law firm or financial institution. Strong drafting skills, sound judgment and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Experience in lending, structured finance or related credit transactions. J.D. and admission to the New York Bar.

Compensation Range: $200,000 - $235,000 base salary + Bonus
