What You'll Be Doing:
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles
- Transport residents to medical appointments and offsite activities
- Assist residents during boarding and exiting vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for all transportation equipment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Valid Class C Driver License with applicable endorsements for the state of employment
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam and obtain a DOT medical certificate (if applicable)
- Clean driving record and compliance with all state and federal driving regulations
- Previous experience working with older adults or individuals with memory impairments preferred
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English • Comfortable working around animals and pets
