Salary Range: $20.17 To $21.25 Hourly Is victim advocacy for sexual violence and training your calling? If so, this is the opportunity for you. In this position, you will work closely with victims and survivors of sexual violence in need of emergency assistance, emergency services, and crisis intervention, among a wealth of other support services. This position is also responsible for providing Rape Crisis training to advocates. Sign on bonus for those who qualify
Key Responsibilities: Provide emergency assistance for victims and survivors of sexual violence seeking support Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services Facilitate 40 Hour Rape Crisis training monthly Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities Participate in rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends Promote a work culture of inclusion and belongings
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 3 or more years of related experience. High school diploma or GED required. Valid & clean NYS driver’s license.
