About the role

PositionLPA is seeking candidates for an Associate - Commercial Real Estate Appraiser position in our EL Paso office. Responsibilities include all aspects of real property valuation, including: Conducting market research and analysis Performing property inspections Developing financial models and valuation analyses Analyzing property income and expense statements Preparing and composing appraisal reports Assisting with feasibility studies and valuation assignments across a variety of commercial property types Supporting senior appraisal staff on appraisal and consulting assignments
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field 0 to 2 years of professional experience Strong analytical and quantitative skills Strong writing, grammar, and report composition skills Excellent keyboarding and computer proficiency Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with CoStar and other commercial real estate databases preferred Familiarity with Argus or other discounted cash flow software preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check Must be able to commute to or work from the EL Paso office Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship CompensationLPA offers a competitive compensation package with opportunities for income growth and career advancement.
