About the role

The Opportunity: This is a business-development position focused on identifying and winning new IT staffing clients. You will be responsible for building relationships with hiring managers and business leaders, uncovering hiring needs, and developing those relationships into long-term partnerships. You will have the support of an experienced leadership team, dedicated recruiters, established systems, and the ability to offer permanent placement, contract, contract-to-hire, and EOR-supported staffing solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop new client relationships through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings
  • Build and manage a targeted pipeline of prospective IT staffing clients
  • Connect with technology leaders, hiring managers, talent acquisition teams, procurement professionals, and other decision-makers
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand each client’s business, technical environment, hiring challenges, and upcoming workforce needs
  • Generate qualified contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent job opportunities
  • Create account-development plans and expand relationships across multiple departments and hiring managers
  • Partner closely with recruiters to communicate job requirements, priorities, timelines, and candidate feedback
  • Present qualified candidates and help manage the hiring process from introduction through placement
  • Negotiate staffing agreements, rates, fees, and other commercial terms
  • Maintain accurate client, opportunity, and activity information within the CRMStay informed about technology hiring trends, talent availability, compensation, and the competitive market
  • Represent Captivate Staffing Group professionally at meetings, networking events, and industry functions
What We Are Looking For:
  • Previous success in staffing sales, technology services sales, recruiting, or a related business-development role
  • Understanding of IT staffing, consulting, or professional services
  • Experience developing new business and building relationships from the ground upAbility to speak confidently with technical leaders and understand their business and hiring needs
  • Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  • A track record of creating opportunities through consistent outbound activity
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative and accountability matter
  • Organized, competitive, resilient, and motivated by measurable results
  • Experience using an ATS, CRM, LinkedIn, and other sales-prospecting tools
  • Existing client relationships or a transferable network is preferred but not required
