Senior Accountant, Financial ReportingThe Keller Group is hiring a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting for our growing client based in Phoenix. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's accounting and financial reporting processes by preparing and maintaining regulatory reports and ensuring compliance with SOX, internal policies, and all relevant state and federal regulations.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the Financial Reporting Manager to prepare and maintain various regulatory reportsPerform analytical reviews of regulatory reports, including variance analysis, reconciliations between the general ledger and reporting systems to ensure accuracyAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidated financial statementsProvide support to internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with SOX ControlsAssist in special projects, including the implementation of new regulatory reporting software, process improvements, and acquisitionsCollaboration with regulatory agencies and external auditorsProvide guidance and training to junior staff when requiredRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field4+ years of experience in accounting, audit or financePublic accounting experience highly preferredFinancial services or public company experience preferredCPA preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of GAAPStrong analytical and organizational abilitiesExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsBenefits:Competitive base salary + bonus and stock compensationComprehensive medical insurance and a great 401k matching planTuition assistance program and employee volunteer programOpportunities for professional development and career growth
