NOW HIRING: DIESEL TECHNICIAN / LEAD DIESEL TECHNICIANReno, Nevada | Model DairyModel Dairy is looking for experienced Diesel Technicians and Lead Diesel Technicians to join our Reno team. If you are a strong diesel mechanic who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment, we want to hear from you. Lead level candidates with experience guiding other technicians are also encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do:
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel trucks, tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Perform preventive maintenance and DOT related services
  • Repair brakes, powertrain, suspension, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and liftgate systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment using computerized diagnostic tools
  • Perform welding and fabrication as needed
  • Ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for operation
  • Lead level candidates may oversee repairs and provide guidance to other technicians
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GEDStrong diesel troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Class A Driver's License
  • Refrigeration Unit Level Class CompletionASE Medium Heavy Master TechnicianCDL preferred
  • Dependable, safety focused, and able to work independently
  • Diesel Technician Compensation: $32.04/hour
  • Lead Diesel Technician: Compensation based on experience.
