About the role

Notetaker Position This position is available exclusively to currently enrolled SJR State students and pays $15 per hour.

Position Summary: This position requires a FAFSA on file and is available only to current SJR State students who are eligible for student employment during the Fall 2026 term. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must successfully pass employment verification, reference screening, and a background check. We are currently hiring notetakers at all three campuses: Palatka, St. Augustine, and Orange Park.

Duties and Responsibilities: Attend assigned classes and take accurate and comprehensive notes. Summarize information from class lectures, discussions, test reviews, and other course activities. Ensure handwritten notes are clear and legible. Provide completed class notes to the Advising Department on campus. Complete assigned note-taking responsibilities in a timely and reliable manner.

Qualifications: Current SJR State student eligible for student employment. FAFSA must be on file. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must successfully complete employment/reference verification and a background check.
