About the role

The Financial Systems Governance & Business Integration SME provides project management, stakeholder coordination, communications, and business integration support across financial systems audit, internal controls, risk management, and emerging technology initiatives. The role supports collaboration among financial management, audit, internal control, risk, technology, and operational stakeholders across a complex federal environment. The SME will help coordinate cross-organizational initiatives, facilitate working groups, develop leadership communications, manage projects and events, and translate complex financial management and technology topics into clear, actionable information. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive professional with 2–4 years of relevant experience who can manage multiple workstreams, communicate effectively with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, and take ownership of assignments from planning through execution.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
