Job Description:
Skyframe & Art is a high-end custom framing, fine art printing, and installation company serving galleries, designers, artists, retailers, and luxury clients. We are looking for a skilled Picture Frame Fitter / Woodworker to join our Miami production team. This is a hands-on production position for someone who is comfortable working with their hands, understands precision and quality, and has experience in picture framing, woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking, or a similar trade.
Responsibilities:
Fit and assemble custom picture frames Install artwork, matting, glazing, backing, and hanging hardware Measure accurately and follow production specifications Work with wood frames and other framing materials Inspect finished pieces for quality and presentation Safely handle valuable artwork and client materials Assist with general woodworking, assembly, and production as needed Maintain a clean and organized workspace Work with the production team to complete orders accurately and on schedule
Qualifications:
Picture framing experience is strongly preferred Woodworking, carpentry, cabinetry, furniture, millwork, or similar hands-on experience will also be considered Comfortable using hand tools and basic shop equipment Strong attention to detail and measurements Ability to work carefully with high-value artwork Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently Able to lift and handle framed artwork and materials Experience in a production or shop environment is a plus About Skyframe Skyframe & Art specializes in custom framing, fine art printing, fabrication, and installation.
