Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor the access and flow of people to prevent any mishaps. Block physical access to restricted areas. Patrol properties to maintain security of premises. Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusions and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. File clean and accurate reports of daily activities and irregularities. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Use weapons or physical force to maintain security. (ARMED PERSONNEL ONLY). Monitor and authorize entrance/departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft. Call police or Fire Department in case of emergency, such as fires or the presence of unauthorized person. Respond to medical emergencies by administering the basic First AID or by obtaining the assistance of paramedics.
