Practice Location: SOMC Pediatric Associates, Portsmouth, OH Staffing: 7 physicians, 9 APPs, office manager, MOAs, and LPNs Case load: 25 patients per day Equipment includes POC testing for lead, hemoglobin, urine, bilirubin, strep, flu, pregnancy, O2, and nebulizers, with on-site lab services Close collaboration with Nationwide Children's and Cincinnati Children's, featuring monthly education and school health collaborative programs Hospital features 248 staffed beds, serving over 250,000, with teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and advanced practitioner trainees
Responsibilities: Perform nursery rounding and call coverage, split weeks among 5 providers (Friday-Sunday and Monday-Thursday) Perform outpatient procedures including wart removal, casting, ear irrigation, ingrown toenails, I&D, and cryotherapy Perform nursery procedures including NRP, attendance at higher risk deliveries, newborn airway management, umbilical line placement, and stabilization while awaiting transfer Compensation Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years)
Bonus Incentives: Excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary
Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000 Medical School Loan Repayment: Repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)

Office Hours: Sunday-Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm Schedule options: (5) 8's or (4) 10's or (3) 12's Nursery rounding and call coverage (split weeks among 5 providers Friday-Sunday and Monday-Thursday)
Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician 2-year contract Residency stipend requires up to 2-year service commitment 70-mile and 2-year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary All employment is contingent upon passing the post-offer physical examination, drug test, and criminal background investigation
