About the role
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Counterintelligence Requirements Officer to join our team in Springfield, VA. The Counterintelligence Requirements Officer will leverage their strong background and technical expertise to support counterintelligence operations, requirements management, collection, and production efforts across the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide CI program management support to CI Operations leadership. Provide operational and production direction and guidance across internal organizational divisions. Provide CI technical expertise, input, support, and maintenance to internal databases. Perform CI collection and production responsibilities, and publish Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs).Use IT systems to task and track office-level requirements and issue office-wide taskings. Maintain office file plans, softcopy office libraries, training master schedules, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis/Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.11+years of counterintelligence (CI) experience. Possess foundational defensive CI experience (e.g., conducting investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training, and awareness).Shall be a credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (e.g., FBI Academy, FLETC, etc.).Experience utilizing IT systems to task, track, and manage office-level requirements and program documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess a Master’s degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis/Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience collaborating across management levels and with external partner agencies.
Advanced familiarity with CI databases, collection management tools, and Intelligence Information Report (IIR) dissemination workflows.
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
