About the role

1st- Library The Library Processor Hours: 8am-4:30pm with OT Pay: $17.50 Prepare books and audio-visual materials in accordance with customer specifications for use in public and private libraries Attach spine labels to books and compact discs Sort cards and labels Attach Mylar/Kapco protective covers to book jackets Perform stamping and theft ID (security) processing Perform auditing of completed materials to ensure accuracy and quality Meet and maintain production standards while following all safety guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills/Knowledge Minimum of 6 months of work experience in at least one previous job Minimum of 6 months of work experience that included physical activity such as walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, and typing/keyboarding Reading comprehension and writing skills up to a high school level Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks Ability to work independently or collaborate in a group environment Ability to be flexible and multi-task based on workflow demands Reliable attendance Skills/Knowledge Preferred Prior experience in a warehouse, production, or light assembly environment Prior experience processing, labeling, or handling library, book, or media materials Experience meeting production rates or quality standards Strong organizational skills and a consistent, careful work pace Physical Requirements Walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift Lift/carry up to 35 lbs. through a full range of motion: 10 lbs. or less continuously, 1120 lbs. frequently, and 2135 lbs. occasionally Push/pull up to 45 lbs. of force: 110 lbs. continuously and 1145 lbs. occasionally Grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift Bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulders, and type/keyboard frequently Exposure to a wide range of temperatures Work the designated shift, including overtime as required, which may include time before or after the shift and/or weekends Essential Functions Able to walk and stand continuously, grip and grasp continuously, bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, crawl, reach above the shoulders, type, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., and push/pull up to 45 lbs. of force throughout the assigned shift, including overtime as required, while performing repetitive manual tasks and meeting production standards. #Fort Wayne
