About the role
A leading global investment bank is looking to hire an Associate into its growing Secondaries team in New York. The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex secondary transactions, working closely with private equity sponsors, institutional investors and senior deal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions, including continuation vehicles, tender offers and portfolio sales. Build financial models and conduct valuation and transaction analysis across private market assets. Prepare client materials, transaction documentation and investment analyses. Coordinate due diligence and manage deal processes from initial evaluation through closing. Work directly with senior bankers, sponsors and institutional investors across live transactions.
Candidate Profile:
2–5 years of experience in investment banking, secondaries, private equity or a related transaction-focused role. Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills. Experience working on private equity or private capital transactions preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple live processes. Genuine interest in private markets and the rapidly growing secondaries market.
