Port NOLA is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead enterprise technology operations, develop and mentor a high-performing team, and deliver innovative technology solutions that advance the Port's mission and support operational excellence.

This position is open exclusively to current Permanent Classified employees of the Port of New Orleans.
Minimum Qualifications:
Six years of experience in information technology
OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in information technology
OR An associate's degree in information technology plus four years of experience in information technology
OR A bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in information technology
OR A bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field plus three years of experience in information technology
OR A master’s degree plus three years of experience in information technology
Job Duties:
Lead and develop a high-performing IT team by providing strategic leadership, coaching, performance management, and oversight of enterprise applications, IT support, service desk operations, information security, and technology initiatives.
Drive enterprise IT operations and project delivery by leading complex technology projects, improving business processes, managing vendor relationships, establishing service standards and KPIs, and ensuring exceptional customer-focused IT services.
Shape technology strategy and innovation by aligning IT solutions with organizational goals, managing technology investments and budgets, modernizing systems, strengthening governance, and partnering with business leaders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology services.
