Work Arrangement: Primarily remote, with approximately 10% onsite work as needed for mail processing. The Administrative Processing Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining Arizona tax-related forms, including Forms 285 and 290. This role involves data entry, document management, basic taxpayer support, and resolving routine inquiries while escalating complex issues to senior team members.
Key Responsibilities: Review incoming Arizona Forms 285 and 290 for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and process Power of Attorney (POA) and Penalty Abatement forms for data entry into the tax accounting system or PRU team inventory master. Organize, maintain, and securely store documents and related correspondence received through mail, email, and fax. Research and resolve routine POA and prescreening issues and inquiries. Serve as a point of contact for taxpayer questions and cases related to Forms 285 and 290.Provide basic customer support and guidance to taxpayers regarding form completion. Escalate intermediate and complex inquiries or cases to senior team members. Process incoming and outgoing mail as assigned. Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills: Basic administrative and clerical skills. Strong typing, data entry, and filing skills. Good attention to detail and document accuracy. Basic written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and maintain confidential records.
Preferred Skills: Experience using basic office equipment.10-key data entry experience. Previous experience with document processing, customer service, or administrative support.
Education: Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
