Responsibilities:
The Automation Engineer will conduct requirements analysis of the state systems and document requirements to assist in implementation of IES. Initial focus will include participating in rules extraction efforts of existing state systems, executing quality control tasks as related to the rules extraction process including verifying 100% coverage, and consumability of outputs by IES business partners and business analysts to inform the to-be system business rules, identifying rules to carry forward into the to-be system and those that will be retired in collaboration with agency business partners working within the guiderails of the project scope. Meet with relevant stakeholders, including agency and local district subject matter experts, users, and executive teams to elicit requirements. Produce work products that reflect and ensure system planning, design, and delivery are in line with business needs. Conduct work product peer reviews and assist in internal review process. Understand and adhere to project timelines and priorities. Work with blended teams of State and vendor resources. Other duties as assigned Skills ReqdLevel I- Between three (3) and seven (7) years of experience as a Automation Engineer Between 3 and 7 years of business analysis experience in state government within the human service domain and a focus on Eligibility, Enrollment, and Case Management (EECM). In the EECM focus area time must have been spent eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyzing and managing the requirements throughthe entire SDLC, and developing artifacts for business and technical stakeholders. Must be fluent in producing business process flows, user stories, data dictionaries, wireframes, and specifications for a modernized eligibility system. Between 3 and 7 years of experience working in an Integrated Eligibility System (IES) modernization program implementing transformed health and human service applications that align to state and federal standards. Between 3 and 7 years’ experience acting as an automation engineer performing business analysis and workflow automation specifically for an eligibility system, assisting with project planning, roadmaps, creating test scenarios, and managing change requests. Between 3 and 7 years’ experience collecting legacy interface information for state supervised and locally administered applications, drafting Interface Control Documentation, and assisting with the disposition of the mainframe interfaces for a modernized solution.
