- Translate consumer insights into clear recommendations that inform: new product development, product and value propositions, packaging design and shelf placement, brand positioning, marketing and communication strategies, portfolio and business planning.
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Category Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to address key business questions.
- Connect consumer needs with business opportunities that support growth, profitability, and competitive advantage.
- Work Across a Variety of Research Projects
- Your projects may include:
- Consumer segmentation
- Concept and claims testing
- Prototype and product testing
- Packaging evaluation
- Shopper and path-to-purchase research
- Brand awareness and positioning
- Focus groups and in-depth interviews
- Market, category, and competitive analysis
- Trend and macroeconomic research

- Turn Data into a Story
- Analyze and synthesize information from multiple research and data sources.

- Create engaging presentations and written reports that help stakeholders quickly understand what matters.
- Build support for recommendations by clearly communicating the consumer perspective and potential business impact.
- Manage Research from Objective to Recommendation
- Help define the business objective and partner with the Senior Consumer Insights Manager to determine the appropriate research approach.
- Develop research plans, coordinate data collection, conduct analysis, and support reporting.
- Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify, locate, and recruit professional contractors who meet research criteria, ensuring the right voices are represented in each study.
- Support and maintain DAP's insights library so valuable knowledge can be shared across the organization.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows as needed, translating observations into actionable insights.
