About the role
Seeking a Land Surveyor for a well-established company!
Job duties include:
- Will lead and direct survey crew members in the field
- Will perform boundary, construction, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, etc
- Operate total stations, GPS equipment, data collectors, and levels
- Will maintain field notes, sketches, photographs, and electronic survey files
Requirements:
- Must have previous Land Survey experience with a strong background in civil engineering principles and topographic mapping techniques
- Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCad, Civil 3D) GIS tools, and survey equipment
- Previous experience managing survey and mapping teams
- Familiar with drafting legal descriptions, schematics, boundary surveys, and managing survey data collection processes
- Strong understanding of algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and math fundamentals that are essential for precise measurements and calculations
- Ability to interpret construction plans and schematics
