About the role
As a full-time Operational Risk Consultant working virtually, the successful candidate will oversee the implementation of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework for the Group Benefits business, providing risk governance oversight and strategic advisory to business leaders while collaborating with various functions to manage operational risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Provide risk governance oversight, ensuring compliance with risk management frameworks and policies
Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders by identifying emerging risks and supporting informed decision-making
Lead risk assessment activities, including monitoring risk events and key risk/performance indicators
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 7-10 years in risk management or a related field
Strong knowledge of the life insurance industry and risk management frameworks
Proven understanding of operational risk frameworks and risk mitigation practices
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
