Job Description: Production Clerk
Location: Lake County, Indiana
Pay: $20-$24 per hour
Join an established manufacturer of framing products in a hands-on production support role where organization, inventory accuracy, and production coordination help keep operations running efficiently.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: *Support production planning and scheduling, track production orders, and coordinate material availability across departments and plant locations.*Enter daily production data, maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and process customer material returns and certifications.*Create and maintain purchase orders, evaluate vendor quotes, and coordinate material purchases and interplant transfers.*Work with production, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve material and scheduling issues while following company safety procedures.
Required Skills & Experience: *High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of production planning, scheduling, or equivalent experience.*Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production control, and inventory management.*Strong organizational, data-entry, and numerical skills, including the ability to interpret measurements and perform basic calculations.*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with familiarity with databases and inventory or reporting systems.
Preferred Skills & Experience: *Experience with Vantage or similar manufacturing and inventory management systems.*Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Interested in this opportunity?
