Position Summary: Altamira is seeking qualified candidates for Language-Enabled, Journeyman-level Geolocation Operator positions located in Augusta, GA. This role requires demonstrated proficiency in Chinese Mandarin, along with certifications in specialized technical capabilities, to provide direct mission support and mentorship within a 24/7, 365-day operational environment.
Position Description: The Language-Enabled, Journeyman Geolocation Operator will perform direct, on-site, real-time operations supporting real-world SIGINT missions. The position requires certified expertise in passive geolocation methodologies and technologies, combined with Chinese Mandarin language-processing capabilities.
Required Qualifications: The Language-Enabled, Journeyman Geolocation Operator must possess the following: Current certifications in basic operations and passive geolocation methods and technologies Minimum ILR Level 2 proficiency in Chinese Mandarin Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a combination of language-processing competencies, including interpretation, translation, gisting, document analysis, teaching, or other skills related to intelligence analysis and production Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Desired Qualifications: Current or previous experience conducting advanced geolocation operations within a multi-technology, foreign-language mission environment Ability and willingness to obtain increasingly advanced geolocation and language certifications and competencies
