Job Description: The Senior Accounting & Budget Analyst is responsible for leading advanced financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and long-term financial planning. This role serves as a key advisor to leadership by providing strategic financial insights, developing detailed financial analyses, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The Senior Accounting & Budget Analyst oversees the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, assists with Board and executive-level financial reporting, manages audit and compliance activities, and ensures effective stewardship of restricted funds, grants, debt obligations, and capital resources. The position also plays a critical role in financial system enhancements, internal control improvements, bond and mill levy financial planning, and process improvement initiatives. Additionally, this individual provides training and mentorship to staff while helping strengthen financial operations across the organization.
