About the role
New Business Sales - ExhibitsWe're seeking a driven New Business Sales professional to generate and close opportunities within the exhibits and experiential design industry. This role focuses on selling exhibit design solutions to booth builders, design and production agencies, and other key players across the trade show and exhibits ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings established relationships within the space, a strong understanding of exhibit workflows, and a proven ability to open doors and convert new business. While location is flexible, priority markets include Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Orlando. This is a high-impact, hunter-style role focused on expanding market presence and building long-term client partnerships.Reporting To: Vice President of Sales, Event SolutionsDuties and Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients through inbound and outbound outreach, creating meaningful connections that develop into long-term partnershipsBuild strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers through multi-channel engagement, including email, phone, social platforms, and in-person meetingsLead thoughtful discovery conversations to understand client goals, challenges, and opportunities, aligning solutions to support their successDevelop compelling proposals, RFP responses, and business cases that reflect client needs and organizational strengthsRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to increase visibility and generate new opportunitiesCollaborate closely with Marketing, Solutions, and Account Management teams to ensure a seamless experience from first conversation through contract executionSupport and inspire teammates by sharing experience, refining messaging and strategies, and contributing to a culture of learning and growthMaintain accurate CRM records and provide forecasting insights using tools such as Salesforce and HubSpotRequirements:A genuine passion for building relationships and helping clients solve challenges through technology and serviceStrong communication skills with the ability to listen actively, speak confidently, and write clearlyDemonstrated success navigating complex sales cycles and engaging executive-level stakeholdersExperience using CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, and SlackA commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentFamiliarity with modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, BANT, SPIN Selling) is a plusWhat Success Looks Like:Consistently driving new revenue by securing high-value opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clientsBuilding durable relationships that result in repeat business and expanded account penetrationStrengthening market presence through representation at key industry events and contribution to thought leadershipCreating and advancing a strategic pipeline aligned with core growth prioritiesPartnering cross-functionally to deliver a seamless client experience and accelerate deal velocityServing as a trusted advisor by influencing client strategy and positioning the organization as a preferred technology partnerElevating the sales organization through mentorship, collaboration, and continuous improvement of processes and messagingThis organization believes the strongest ideas come from diverse perspectives and collaborative teams.
