About the role
Shaping the editorial direction for a growing outdoor brand, the full-time remote Editorial Content Lead will develop engaging educational and multimedia content, manage the editorial calendar, and produce storytelling materials that enhance customer understanding of backcountry communication and product usage.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a clear editorial vision for educational and storytelling content
Lead the creation of in-depth guides and resources related to backcountry communication and radio technology
Write and edit content across various formats while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and alignmentRequired qualifications 5+ years of experience in editorial, copywriting, content strategy, or brand storytelling in the outdoor industry
Strong technical writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
Mastery of AP Style and proper grammar
Experience developing educational or technical content for real-world users
Comfort working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and creative teams
