Position Summary: Dynamic Specialty, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist to support the claims department in managing claims from first notice of loss through resolution. The Claims Specialist serves as a point of contact for insureds, claimants, agents, brokers, carriers, and third-party adjusters, ensuring every claim is reported accurately, documented thoroughly, and handled promptly and professionally. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service. Essential Duties /
Responsibilities: Receive and process first notice of loss (FNOL) reports from insureds, agents, and drivers, and report claims to the appropriate carrier or claims administrator in a timely manner. Set up and maintain accurate, complete claim files in the company's systems. Review, investigate, and process trucking claims, gathering and verifying supporting documentation such as accident reports, VIN numbers, photos, driver statements, and other relevant information. Serve as a point of contact for insureds, claimants, agents, brokers, carriers, and third-party adjusters, providing timely and professional updates on claim status. Follow up on open claims to ensure they progress efficiently and that outstanding items are resolved. Respond to customer service inquiries by phone and email, escalating complex or sensitive issues to the Claims and Customer Service Specialist. Process loss run requests and provide claims information to agents and internal departments as needed. Ensure all claims activity complies with carrier guidelines, company procedures, and state regulations. Collaborate with the underwriting department and other internal teams on claims-related questions and trends. Track claim activity and assist in preparing claims reports for management. Maintain confidentiality of all claim, policyholder, and company information. Perform other duties as assigned to support the claims and customer service department.
Minimum Qualifications
Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Active Florida 6‑20 Adjuster License Experience in customer service, insurance, or an administrative role. Prior experience handling insurance claims, preferably commercial auto, trucking, or transportation claims. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software systems. Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred: Experience working in a Managing General Agency (MGA), carrier, or insurance agency environment. Knowledge of trucking industry terminology. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus. Physical Demands and
Work Environment: Continually required to sit for extended periods The noise level is moderate to high. Required on site- this is not a remote eligible position. Office-based with standard business hours.
