Staff Accountant

Responsibilities will include: –Support day-to-day accounting operations including processing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts. Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.–Support bookkeeper with AR collections and customer communication–Assist in implementing and reinforcing internal controls, accounting policies, and workflow improvements. Qualifications and Experience–Detail oriented with a proven track record of professional progression–Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.–2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a CPG, retail or hospitality environment or public accounting.–CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred.–Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.–Experience with Quickbooks or an ERP.–Proficiency in Google sheets and Excel with ability to use Filters, Vlookup, Pivot Tables A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, agile and a professional individual who is a self-starter, able to work independently, but also prides themselves on contributing within a team.
