A&P Tech - Cirrus San Diego, CA 92123 Job Description Johnson Service Group is looking for an Airframe & Powerplant Licensed Technician with a preferred 2+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance. Shift for this position is Mon-Fri 5:30am-2:00pm. Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License Pay: $40-$45 DOE. Job duties include examining replacement aircraft parts for defects, diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems, reading and understanding maintenance manuals and other technical documents and identifying repair procedures, repairing wings, brakes, electrical systems and other aircraft components, replacing defective parts using approved tooling, testing aircraft parts with proper diagnostic equipment, assembling aircraft components, performing required measurement and testing, installing system software and databases, inspecting complete work for compliance and performance standards, training and mentoring junior technicians in best practices and technical skills, conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting of airframe and powerplant systems, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, and maintaining detailed documentation of all work performed, including maintenance logs and reports.
