Job Description: Entry-level position responsible for automation systems, instrumentation, and control equipment in an industrial environment. This role requires 0-3 years of experience related to the position and focuses on safe operation, system troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities: Perform scheduled ESD / LEL / H2S testing and calibration Read and understand P&IDs, instrumentation loop drawings, and C&E documentation Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Eaton, etc.)Program and troubleshoot RTUs (ROC, FB107, Total Flow, etc.)Program and troubleshoot HMIs (Red Lion, Maple, Beier, etc.)Configure and troubleshoot Modbus communications Troubleshoot wiring with multimeters Work with edge computers and software (Ignition, On-Logic, Moxa, etc.)Configure and troubleshoot serial to Ethernet converters (Moxa, Phoenix, Red Lion, etc.)Troubleshoot various instrumentation including pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, and level switches Tune PID loops and understand process control systems Navigate and learn software/application platforms
Skills and Qualifications: 0-3 years of experience related to automation or instrumentation Basic mechanical, electrical, and computer skills Licensed Journeyman recommended (applicable to electrical & I&E positions)Ability to work safely with a safety-first approach Strong learning ability and communication skills Team-oriented with ability to manage time unsupervised Ability to handle basic discipline tasks Strong work ethics Role Details:
