Are you ready to use your administrative and customer service skills to support a fast-moving sales team?Socket Fiber is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Business Sales team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of Sales and sales team members to support administrative needs, maintain accurate information, assist customers, and help keep quotes, contracts, orders, and billing activities moving forward.This position is a great fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams, and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Job Classification: Non-ExemptA Day in the Life You may start your day reviewing sales reports, updating information in Salesforce, or checking the status of customer orders. Throughout the day, you'll prepare contracts and spreadsheets, answer customer questions, collect missing documents or signatures, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve order and billing concerns. You may also help prepare sales presentations, support customer events, coordinate interviews, or assist with onboarding a new team member. Priorities can shift quickly, so strong organization, communication, and follow-through will be important.What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities Include:Maintain and prepare reports used to support the management of the sales teamMaintain accurate information in Salesforce and produce reports as neededAssist with quotes, contracts, orders, add-on services, and order-status follow-upHelp customers with questions related to contracts, orders, invoices, paperwork, and signaturesCoordinate with internal teams to resolve outstanding order and billing concernsCompile customer billing and long-distance audits as requestedCreate spreadsheets containing costing details for multi-location quotesAssist with sales presentations and customer-facing events, including lunch & learns, trade shows, and exposSupport agent quotes, contracts, orders, and billing needsAssist with recruiting activities, including maintaining job postings, managing resumes, scheduling interviews, and sending assessmentsHelp onboard and train new team membersDesired Attributes: Beyond the qualifications, these attributes are what make someone a great fit for our team:Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlinesProfessional, positive, and friendly communication styleComfort managing multiple projects and changing prioritiesStrong problem-solving skills and sound judgmentDependable follow-through and a team-focused approachFlexibility in a fast-paced business environmentWhat Will Help You Stand Out: Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting a sales team or working in customer serviceStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience using Salesforce or another customer relationship management systemExperience preparing reports, spreadsheets, contracts, or customer correspondenceComfort communicating with customers, vendors, managers, and employeesWhy Join Socket Fiber: At Socket Fiber, we're redefining what it means to connect communities.
