About the role
To support rigorous applied research efforts, the full-time Senior Researcher, Mixed Methods will design and lead studies to understand attitudes and behaviors related to decarbonization, utilizing experimental and mixed-methods approaches in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead original research from question development through study design, data collection, and analysis
Design and analyze randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental studies to measure program effects
Integrate quantitative and qualitative methods to assess intervention effectiveness and underlying factors
Required Qualifications
A PhD in a relevant social science field or equivalent advanced research training and experience
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, including study design and evidence evaluation
Strong experience with applied social or behavioral research methodologies
Proficiency in statistical and research software such as R, Python, or similar tools
Three or more years of research experience following completion of a doctoral degree is preferred
