This executive will be at the forefront of leading the enterprise capabilities that empower engineers to build, deploy, and enhance software and digital solutions with a focus on speed, quality, security, and consistency. The role involves shaping the enterprise strategy for software engineering productivity, driving the adoption of modern engineering practices, and leading a multidisciplinary organization to achieve key outcomes such as higher engineering productivity, improved developer experience, and accelerated use of AI-enabled development. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting the enterprise operating model, setting standards for software development, and defining the capabilities required for secure and reliable software delivery. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of progressive experience, and a minimum of 15 years in leading enterprise software, engineering, or digital transformation, particularly in regulated industries. Essential qualifications include a strong background in modern software engineering environments, experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and a deep understanding of healthcare technology regulatory expectations. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in enterprise-wide transformations, the ability to influence senior executives, and a passion for continuous improvement and digital innovation. Desired characteristics include experience with AI, open-source governance, and a strong business acumen to balance various priorities.
