Job Description
About Us: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in accuracy, and works well with both customers and team members.
Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing customer orders accurately, efficiently, and on time while assisting with inbound receiving and outbound shipments. This role also supports inventory accuracy, customer pickups, warehouse safety, and training new warehouse team members. Schedule 8am-5pm M-FResponsibilitiesFollow all warehouse and delivery safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment. Protect company products, equipment, and property. Operate forklifts safely and follow required forklift maintenance procedures. Verify the accuracy of customer deliveries and walk-in orders. Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently. Double-check orders prepared by other warehouse team members to ensure accuracy. Receive and organize inbound shipments for inventory. Load customer vehicles for pickup orders. Verify and maintain accurate inventory levels. Follow proper ordering and warehouse procedures. Communicate with customers and internal team members regarding orders and shipments. Assist with coordinating customer orders and resolving order-related issues. Train new warehouse employees and temporary workers on warehouse procedures and expectations. Prioritize daily tasks and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment. Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations team members to meet daily goals.
Requirements: Previous forklift experience required. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Strong time-management and prioritization skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively with different personalities and team members. Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies consistently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as required in a warehouse environment. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts. Ability to load and unload products and customer orders as needed.
