Settlement Attorney (Fully Remote)
About the Role: A Los Angeles-based plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Settlement Attorney to join its growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys negotiating resolutions, managing case pipelines, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties
  • Evaluate cases for settlement value and develop negotiation strategies
  • Draft, review, and revise settlement agreements and related documents
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution
  • Maintain organized case tracking and ensure timely follow-up on all settlement-related matters
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding settlement options and outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Active license to practice law in California
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload
  • Experience with contract drafting and negotiation required
  • Prior settlement negotiation experience strongly preferred
  • Employment law experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
