Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents, focusing on improving functional abilities and quality of life Conduct occupational therapy assessments, plan, and implement treatment programs for residents in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident Provide education and training to families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on occupational therapy techniques and strategies Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) designation Per Diemschedule, working variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Familiarity with PPS and MDS regulations and guidelines About Our Facility:
