About the role

Our client is a top Fintech Firm in Manhattan. This role is hybrid, 4x on site. Responsibilities included but not limited to: Develop and execute the global payroll strategy, operating model, and governance framework Establish and maintain payroll governance, internal controls, and risk management practices to ensure compliance and audit readiness. Collaborate with Treasury on payroll funding, banking activities, and cash flow planning. Partner with Finance and Accounting to support payroll accruals and balance sheet reconciliations. Manage year-end payroll reporting and filings across U.S. and international jurisdictions. Act as the primary escalation point for complex payroll matters. Drive payroll system enhancements, integrations, automation initiatives, and process improvements. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global payroll team, promoting accountability, accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Payroll experience
  • Completed Bachelor's degree
  • Experience overseeing a team
  • Global payroll experience
The annual base salary range is $175,000 to $215,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
