About the role
As a Network Administrator at Hostphase, you will help architect, operate, and grow the global backbone that powers our cloud platform. Working closely with systems and software engineers, you will keep connectivity fast, resilient, and secure for customers around the world. What you will be doing:
Keep an eye on server and network health using tooling such as Grafana and Graylog
Detect, investigate, and mitigate unusual DDoS attack patterns
Study traffic flows and routing behaviour to spot anomalies early
Troubleshoot infrastructure end to end with full access to the management layer
Operate a range of network gear, including Cisco-style CLI Ethernet switches, Mikrotik, and Opengear
Manage Internet number resources (IPv4, IPv6, ASN)
Configure and tune dynamic routing protocols (iBGP and eBGP with the full table, OSPF)

Comfort using the shell to diagnose networking services
Scripting ability in Python and Bash (additional languages are a welcome bonus)
