An equipment supplier is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to support on-site service and maintenance of concrete equipment. This is a field-first role built around hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and delivering responsive service that drives long-term maintenance contracts. Core Responsibilities:
•Travel to customer sites nationwide to perform service and maintenance on batch silos•Climb silos to perform filter changes, inspect and service pressure relief systems, and complete preventive maintenance•Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and execute repairs safely and efficiently•Build and maintain customer relationships with the goal of securing ongoing maintenance contracts•Complete service documentation and reporting accurately and on time•Participate in on-site training at the company’s Missouri facility•Adapt as scope expands to include additional equipment over time Requirements•Ability and willingness to climb silos and work at height — core function of the role•Comfort working in dusty, industrial field environments•General mechanical/maintenance background with hands-on troubleshooting ability•PLC experience•Willingness to travel ~75%, including extended time away from home•Must reside near Indianapolis•Valid driver’s license with clean record Travel & Territory Travel is approximately 75% across the continental U.S.
