The ideal candidate brings advanced, hands-on experience planning, building, and delivering end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric that align to the client's strategy. This individual will translate complex client challenges into scalable business intelligence, data, and analytics solutions, including scorecards that combine trusted metrics, data-quality indicators, and insights from complex sources, while establishing a standardized branding, visual design, and user-experience framework across solutions that help clients identify continuous improvement opportunities and make informed decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Power BI reports, dashboards and scorecards for operational and executive audiences by applying consistent branding, navigation, accessibility and user-experience standardsDesign and deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions across Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform, including data ingestion, transformation, Lakehouse or Warehouse architecture, pipelines, notebooks, reusable semantic models, reporting and routine maintenanceBuild and maintain executive scorecards with meaningful KPIs, performance targets, data-quality measures, trends and actionable insights from complex data sourcesAnalyze complex business problems and raw data to identify actionable insights, solutions and opportunities for continuous improvementUnderstand client’s business needs, technical environments and constraints to design effective solutionsEstablish and monitor data quality, security, and integrity controls across source systems, Fabric assets, semantic models, scorecards, and Power BI solutionsPartner with operational teams and business stakeholders to define source-to-report architecture, refresh strategies, access controls and deployment standards across Fabric workspacesCreate and maintain reporting, solution and process documentationQualifications5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions, including SQL, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, data visualization, performance optimization, and deploymentAbility to work remotely within North Dakota or MinnesotaHands-on experience building and managing Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Lakehouse or Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, deployment pipelines, workspace governance and capacity monitoringDemonstrated experience designing scorecards, defining and governing business metrics, and integrating complex structured and unstructured source data into trusted analytical modelsExperience designing standardized Power BI themes and templates and applying accessibility standards aligned with organizational brandingDemonstrated experience with data analysis, process modeling and user experience designExpertise in analyzing business processes and defining business, functional and technical requirementsExperience building automation and data integration solutions with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform and AI to reduce manual effortWorking knowledge of Python for Fabric notebooks, data preparation, or reporting automation preferredStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-team relationships and communicate with technical and non-technical audiencesBenefitsCompany-sponsored Health, Dental, and Vision (HDV) insurance, a 401(k) with company match, Flex PTO, paid holidays, company-paid life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), professional development opportunities, and optional supplemental benefits designed to support your well-being and success.EOE | Disability/Veterans
