Job Description CAD Drafter (AutoCAD) - Residential & CommercialJJS Services Inc. JJS Services Inc. is growing and seeking an experienced CAD Drafter with knowledge of Florida Building Code. Projects primarily include residential remodels and additions, restaurant build-outs, and after-the-fact plans for code violations.
What You'll Do:
Create 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software Work with engineers, architects, and designers to develop accurate plans Revise drawings and respond to city/county plan review comments Maintain organized project files and documentation Collaborate with the team through a project management platform to track project progress Attend site visits at job sites when required
What We're Looking For:
Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software Familiarity with Florida Building Code and permitting processes Strong organizational and detail-oriented work style Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Education:
Minimum Associate's degree in CAD Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
