Pay: $28-30 per hour
Our client develops technology that supports at-home testing for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders. They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to help ensure components and finished devices meet specifications and quality requirements. In this hands-on role, you will perform inspections, maintain accurate manufacturing records, and identify quality issues early. You will report to Quality Engineering and support audits, complaint investigations, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities: Perform incoming and final inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished devices against drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Record inspection results and maintain complete records, including Device History Records, in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Identify nonconforming materials and escalate findings to Quality Engineering. Conduct monthly inspections of manufacturing areas for compliance with SOPs and work instructions. Support document control, audits, and complaint investigations as directed. Help maintain inspection equipment and flag items due for current on applicable procedures and quality system requirements. Participate in continuous improvement years of quality inspection experience in medical devices or another regulated manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical or scientific field preferred. Working knowledge of GDP and familiarity with quality requirements such as 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 as they relate to inspection and recordkeeping. Strong attention to detail, particularly when recording results and reviewing to follow established procedures, communicate findings clearly, and work closely with Quality Engineering.
