About the role

Senior Financial Analyst, CorporateThe Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate role sits within Corporate FP&A and supports executive leadership through forecasting, financial modeling, and operational analysis. You'll work closely with division finance teams, operations, land, construction, sales, and accounting to help drive business decisions across the company. Core responsibilities include building and maintaining SG&A expense and cash flow forecasts, tracking financial and operational trends, and preparing reporting for executive review. You'll also support annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and long range strategic projects, acting as a key link between field operations and corporate leadership.Primary responsibilities include:Review and analyze company financial statements and reportsTrack and analyze KPIs and assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reportsDevelop financial projections and build financial/operational modelsUnderstand key business drivers to assist in the general support of the Finance teamPerform research and analysis as requiredAssist with planning and budgeting processesYou are willing to perform other duties as assignedAdditional responsibilities include:Assist with preparing monthly management reporting packages for executive leadership and field operatorsAs part of the month end close process review departmental overheads and prepare commentary for significant variancesAssist in preparation and review of annual budget and quarterly updatesCompetencies, behaviors & attributes:AnalyticalCommunicationDetail OrientedEthics & IntegrityIndependent WorkerPrioritizationAbout you:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA / CPA a plus4+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting experience, preferably in the homebuilding, land development and/or construction industryExperience with finance and accounting systems and softwareStrong Excel skills, knowledge of VBA a plusKnowledge of Cost Accounting (specifically related to construction industry)Computer literacy, including knowledge of reporting / analytical softwareFLSA Status: ExemptWill have responsibilities such as:Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operationsAct as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significanceEssential Functions:Successful job applicants will be able to perform these functions.
