Job Title: Cloud & Python Systems Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Warren, NJ – 4 days per week in office
Role Type - 6-month Contract-to-HireMust Have Skills: Hands-on technical generalist with experience spanning software development, IT/cloud infrastructure, APIs, automation, systems administration, and troubleshooting Strong Python development skills with Django or comparable Python web framework experience Hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience Docker/container experience Ability to independently research and solve unfamiliar technical problems across a broad technology stack Responsibilities and Job Details: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Python/Django applications and backend services Build Python scripts, automation tools, REST APIs, and third-party integrations Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments, with an emphasis on GCPTroubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, authentication, and integration issues Work across databases, application servers, APIs, cloud-hosted services, and IT systems Automate repetitive engineering, IT, and operational processes Support containerized applications and modern deployment technologies Assist with monitoring, logging, application reliability, and security Research new APIs, platforms, and technologies and determine practical integration approaches Collaborate directly with engineering and product teams in a small, cross-functional environment Contribute broadly across software development, cloud infrastructure, automation, integrations, and AI initiatives Operate as an adaptable technical problem solver who can move between development and systems/infrastructure work as business needs evolve
