Position Overview:
HireIQ are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Property Accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, lease administration, and Yardi.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for commercial properties Produce detailed income statements and balance sheets Develop and monitor property budgets and forecasts Accurately record lease terms, rents, and related expenses in Yardi Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies Perform variance analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve property performance Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance Respond to tenant financial inquiries and resolve billing issues Support special financial projects and provide insights to broader business initiatives Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Ideally five years of commercial property accounting experience Strong understanding of real estate accounting and finance Advanced proficiency in Yardi is essential Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Click apply or reach out to Kenton Bell for more details.
