About the role
Major Food Group is hiring part-time Polishers to join our team at Carbone Dallas! Carbone is an Italian-American restaurant created by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. The restaurant pays homage to the essence of the great Italian-American restaurants of mid-20th century New York. The food nods to that history, but takes its culinary cues from the great talents and techniques of the present and future. Familiar dishes like Seafood Salad, Linguini Vongole, Lobster Fra Diavolo, Chicken Scarpariello and Veal Parmesan elevated to a new level. Carbone Vino, located just across the courtyard from Carbone, is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
