Furniture Repair Technician Details: Temp-to-Hire position$ 28.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Tuesday through Saturday from 06:00am to 03:00pm)What your day-to-day will look like: Diagnose basic to moderate furniture damage and determine appropriate repair method Perform repairs including burn-in fills, wood touch-ups, and frame stabilization Assist with refinishing furnituresanding, staining, and polishing as needed Reupholster or repair minor fabric issues such as seams and stuffing Replace or repair furniture components (legs, arms, handles, hinges, etc.)Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Use and maintain hand and power tools in a safe, effective manner Collaborate with senior team members to meet repair goals Inspect outbound deluxe furniture on multiple lanes daily to proactively identify and address damage, wear, or finish issues Support general warehouse operations during downtime as applicable, including: unloading trucks, pulling product, staging deliveries, and maintaining a clean work area
Furniture Repair Technician Qualifications:
One to two years of experience in furniture repair, carpentry, upholstery, refinishing, or a related trade. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, including safe operating practices. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality repairs. Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 75 pounds. No specific degree is required; candidates must complete all required pre-employment screenings. Applicant may be subject to a background check.
